Selecting the right mattress is all about understanding your unique sleep needs. Start by thinking about your firmness preference, the sleeping position that feels most comfortable (whether you sleep on your back, side, or stomach), and the type of mattress you prefer (memory foam, innerspring, or hybrid).

10-Year Warranty

All Ellomatt mattresses are covered by a 10-year limited warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty protects against:

• Manufacturing defects in materials or craftsmanship
• Structural damage, including broken springs or foam collapse under normal use
• Cover or stitching defects not related to improper use, mishandling, or lack of care

The
warranty is valid when the mattress is used on a suitable base and
handled according to our care guidelines. It does not cover normal
softening over time, stains, misuse, or damage caused by incorrect
storage or transport.

No worries! Ellomatt mattresses require minimal maintenance. You can place them on any surface – the floor, a spring base, or a slatted frame. Ellomatt mattresses adapt to all lifestyles. The only important thing is to make sure the surface is clean and dry.
Also, we recommend that the slats be no more than 7.5 cm apart

Unboxing & First Use

Your Ellomatt
mattress comes compressed and rolled for easy delivery. Here’s how to
get the best out of it and keep it looking (and smelling) amazing from
day one.

Step 1 – Unbox with Care

Place
the box in the room where you’ll use the mattress. Carefully cut the
outer plastic (avoid scissors or blades near the fabric). Once unrolled,
the mattress will begin expanding right away.

Step 2 – Let It Breathe

You can lie on the mattress soon after unboxing, but for the best experience, we recommend waiting 24 to 72 hours so it can fully expand and reach its optimal shape and comfort.

Step 3 – Air It Out

A
slight "new mattress" scent is normal it comes from fresh materials and
will fade quickly. Let the room air out for a few hours if needed.
Ventilated spaces help!

Step 4 – Don’t Pull or Stretch the Fabric

The
outer cover is designed to fit snugly and beautifully once fully
expanded. Avoid pulling, stretching or sitting heavily on the edges
before the foam has fully settled.

Step 5 – Want a Flawless Finish?

If you notice minor fabric creases after unboxing, you may use a handheld steamer on low intensity. Just apply gentle steam at a safe distance and avoid excess moisture or direct contact.
