  • The Ellomatt mattress typically takes between 24 to 72 hours to fully expand and reach its ideal comfort level. However, you can start using it within a few hours of unboxing—just keep in mind that it may take a bit longer to settle into its final shape.

    If you can’t unpack it immediately, you can store the mattress in its original vacuum-sealed packaging for up to 4 weeks. After this period, the materials may lose their intended performance.

  • You can lie on the mattress soon after unboxing, but for the best experience, we recommend waiting until it has fully expanded.

  • Every Ellomatt mattress comes with our exclusive Sleep Fragrance, designed to create a fresh and inviting sleep environment from the moment you unbox it. Simply spray it lightly on the surface to enhance your sleep experience whenever you wish.

  • Selecting the right mattress is all about understanding your unique sleep needs. Start by thinking about your firmness preference, the sleeping position that feels most comfortable (whether you sleep on your back, side, or stomach), and the type of mattress you prefer (memory foam, innerspring, or hybrid).

  • For the best comfort, we recommend that you don't keep your mattress in the box for more than 4 weeks. After this time, the mattress may begin to lose some of its key features, and both the springs and foams could be damaged from being rolled up and vacuum-sealed for an extended period.

  • No worries! Ellomatt mattresses require minimal maintenance. You can place them on any surface – the floor, a spring base, or a slatted frame. Ellomatt mattresses adapt to all lifestyles. The only important thing is to make sure the surface is clean and dry. Also, we recommend that the slats be no more than 7.5 cm apart

  • After receiving your Ellomatt mattress, just follow these 4 simple steps:

    1. Unroll: Take the mattress out of the box and place it on a flat surface. Then, unroll the mattress.
    2. Unwrap: Carefully open the protective plastic and unroll the mattress.
    3. Wait: The mattress will take its original shape within 24 to 72 hours.
    4. Sleep: Now, it’s time to enjoy a perfect night’s sleep on your new Ellomatt mattress!

  • Delivery takes between 2 to 5 days, depending on the destination and selected shipping method.

  • We offer three shipping options:

    • Standard Shipping – Free for all mattresses and orders over €100.
    • Insurance Shipping – Covers any potential issues during transit. If there’s a problem, we ensure a free mattress replacement.
    • Insurance & Express Shipping – Our fastest shipping option, fully insured for all products within the order.
  • Yes! All orders are delivered directly to your doorstep, regardless of the mattress type or size.

  • Each mattress is shipped in a sealed, sterilized box, vacuum-packed and rolled for maximum hygiene and convenience.

    • Free standard shipping on all mattresses.

    • For accessories and other products, shipping is free for orders over €100.

    • Orders below €100 may have a shipping fee applied.

    • Insurance and Express Shipping options are available for an additional cost.
  • We recommend being available to receive your order, but if necessary, alternative delivery arrangements can be made through the carrier.

  • Yes! Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number and tracking link to monitor the delivery progress.

    Order Confirmation: Woohoo, your order is complete! You’ll receive an email with all the details of your order, confirming that everything has been registered in our system. Along with this, you'll have a link to track the status of your order. Note: The order confirmation is only sent once we’ve confirmed the payment.

Warranty Policy

  • Ellomatt's warranty does not cover the following:

    • Normal wear and tear
    • Personal comfort preferences (e.g., firmness, height, feel)
    • Damage due to misuse, accidents, or improper handling (including cuts, burns, stains, or mold)
    • Use on an unsuitable or damaged bed base
    • Mattresses used in commercial or rental environments
    • Products sold as “final sale” or “as-is”
    • Transport or inspection costs related to warranty claims (unless required by law)
  • Your Ellomatt mattress is covered by a 10-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.

  • It covers defects in materials or craftsmanship, including broken springs, foam breakdown, or body impressions deeper than 3 cm, provided they result from manufacturing faults.

  • Use the mattress on a firm, flat, breathable base in a residential setting. Keep your receipt, and ensure the mattress shows no signs of misuse or improper care.

  • Send us the following:

    • Your proof of purchase
    • A clear explanation of the issue and how it affects your sleep
    • Photos or videos of the fault
    • Details about the base or foundation in use

  • If the defect is confirmed and covered, we’ll repair or replace your mattress at no charge. If the original model is unavailable, a similar model of equal or greater value will be offered.

  • No, replacements do not renew the original warranty period.

  • No, the warranty only applies to the original purchaser.

Returns & Exchanges

  • You have two return options:

    1.Donate it to a verified charity, with video and written documentation.

    2.Ship it back to us with our support.

    Either way, just contact our team and we’ll guide you through it.

  • Return shipping costs are covered by the customer. We’ll help coordinate the process to make it as smooth and affordable as possible.

  • A short video of the handover and a written document from the organization are required. This ensures transparency and allows us to finalize your return.

  • Yes. If you’re shipping it back, please protect the mattress properly to avoid damage in transit.

  • We’ll analyze the mattress or verify the donation materials. Once approved, you’ll receive your refund within a few business days.

  • If damage occurs in transit, we may deduct part of the cost from your refund. We’ll always document and communicate clearly.
