Returns & Refunds
At Ellomatt, we take comfort seriously but we also take ethics, logistics and sustainability seriously. That's why our returns policy is designed to protect not just your sleep, but also the environment and the integrity of our process.
30-Night Mattress Trial (With Conditions)
You have up to 30 nights to test your Ellomatt mattress in your home. This is not a casual tryout — it's a structured trial meant for genuine sleep testing.
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- You must contact us within 30 calendar days from delivery
- The mattress must have been tested under normal conditions and on a suitable bed base
- You must follow our care guidelines during the trial
- A full donation of the product must be made to a verified institution, and proof of donation must be provided
Our technical team reviews every request to ensure the return request is legitimate, non-abusive, and aligned with our values of sustainable product management. Once approved, we will issue your refund within 10 working days.
No Returns for Incorrect Orders or Opened Products
We do not accept returns or exchanges due to incorrect model, firmness or size selection. Each mattress is carefully packed, sealed and prepared for your order and once opened or used, it cannot be repackaged or resold in good conscience.
Mattresses that have been opened, used, or removed from original packaging are no longer eligible for standard return, refund, or exchange unless covered by a valid defect claim.
We Reject Abusive Requests
Ellomatt reserves the right to refuse refunds or exchanges if there is evidence of improper use, misuse of the trial program, or fraudulent intent. Our team documents and evaluates each case to protect fair customers and the integrity of our product cycle.
Other Products (Pillows, Duvets, Protectors, Fragrance)
- All peripheral products are final sale once opened
- We do not accept returns on used pillows, duvets, protectors or fragrances due to health and handling restrictions
- If unopened and unused, return requests may be considered within 14 days, in compliance with EU consumer law
