Unboxing & Care

Your Ellomatt viscoelastic pillow arrives protected and lightly compressed. Once unboxed, allow it to fully expand for a few hours in a well ventilated room. A slight foam scent is normal and will fade quickly.

Care Instructions
  • Core: High-density memory foam — do not machine wash or tumble dry
  • Cleaning: Spot clean the foam only with a damp cloth and mild detergent
  • Cover: 100% cotton with zipper — fully removable and machine washable (gentle cycle, air dry recommended)
  • Use with a pillowcase to keep both the cover and foam fresh
  • Store in a dry, ventilated space away from heat sources

  • No — Ellomatt pillows fit all standard EU/UK pillowcases in the size you select (for example, 50×70 cm). For the best comfort, we recommend breathable cotton pillowcases.

  • Fiber pillows (Loom, Terra): cover is machine-washable; filling is spot-clean only.

    Memory foam pillows (Mellow, Plume): foam core is not washable; wash the cover only.

    Adjustable pillows (Nomad, Loom): do not wash the filling; wash the cover only.

    Always follow the care label inside each pillow.
