Every Ello Original is built in a single European workshop, by a small team. No outsourced manufacturing, no white-label suppliers. The mattress that arrives at your door was made by the same hands that made the one before it, and the one after.

Size, technology, feel, colour, fragrance, chosen by you before a single piece of foam or fabric gets cut. The mattress doesn't exist before you order it. We don't manufacture ahead of demand. We don't hold inventory. Configured by you, built once, delivered to your door.

Every Ello Original is built after your order is confirmed, the mattress doesn't exist until you commit to it. Production typically takes 3–5 working days, then tracked shipping across the EU adds 2–5 more depending on destination. You'll receive tracking the moment it leaves the workshop.
How firm will my mattress feel?
How firm will my mattress feel?
The feel depends on the technology and firmness combination you choose. Foam Soft and Medium feel cushioning and contoured. Springs Soft and Medium feel responsive and supportive. Orthopedic Foam delivers Extra Firm support with a softer Medium-firm side via flip. The Sleep Finder will match you to the right combination in two minutes.
Will it work with my bed frame?
Will it work with my bed frame?
Yes. The Ello Original works with any flat-base, slatted, or box-spring frame. For slatted bases, gaps should be no more than 7cm apart for proper support. The mattress doesn't require a box-spring, but it works fine with one if you have it.
Is the silk-touch premium viscose cover removable for cleaning?
Is the silk-touch premium viscose cover removable for cleaning?
The cover is fitted and sewn for structural integrity, so it's not removable. It's designed to be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth, for full cleaning instructions, see our Care guide. The internal materials are protected by the cover from typical bedroom dust and oils, so most customers find spot-cleaning sufficient for the lifetime of the mattress.
