Each piece in your bundle comes with its own care label, follow those for washing temperatures, drying, and ironing. As a general rule: covers and protectors are machine washable, mattresses are spot-clean only, and rotating your mattress head-to-foot every few months helps it last longer.

Memory foam has a reputation for running warm, earned, in cheaper foams, but largely engineered out in viscoelastic constructions like Mellow's. The OEKO-TEX certified cotton cover handles most of the heat regulation, and the foam itself is calibrated for breathability rather than density. If you've slept on cheap memory-foam pillows before and overheated, Mellow is the change most people notice immediately.

Mellow is built for back sleepers and side sleepers, the two positions where neck alignment and pressure relief matter most. Stomach sleepers typically prefer flatter, softer pillows; for that profile, Plume or Terra would suit better.

Both, that's the design. Mellow feels firm when you first lie down (the foam is at room temperature and hasn't yet responded to your body), then softens within a minute or two as your body heat activates the viscoelastic memory. The transition is the feature, not a flaw.
